10 Indian Movies That Everyone Should Watch


Movies have a magical power of metamorphosing you to a fantasy world, far away from the harsh realities of life. Jean-Luc Godard once said that “Cinema is the most beautiful fraud in the world”. Whether a fraud or just a relaxing therapy, the truth is, we love watching movies! Even though a thousand movies are produced every year in Bollywood, only a few of them rise up to become the evergreen classics. These are those films which, even if you watch a hundred times, will always seem as fresh as a daisy! So here we go-

1. Sholay (1975)

5. Anand (1971)
It teaches you how to live life with open arms. Anand is Superstar Rajesh Khanna’s best film and one of those dramas which have a deep effect on your life!

6. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge - Official (1995)
The longest running film in the history of bollywood, DDLJ is by far the most romantic film of all times! Words fall short if you try to describe the undaunted success of this film!

7. Andaz Apna Apna (1994)
This film deems as the epic comedy film of the 90s era. The funny punch-lines and super-hilarious characters of this movie are reminisced till date.

8. Lagaan (2001)
A classic entertainer in all forms, Lagaan is one such period film that keeps you engaged no matter how many times you watch it! An unconventional theme in the backdrop of the colonial era brings it even more close to the heart.

9. Dil Chahta Hai (2001)
